w00t!
Today I achieved an extremely minor goal in life, but it was fun. I was playing SSBM (Super Smash Bros. Melee) on my gamecube and managed to beat 3 lvl 9 cpu players that were all on a team in a 3-life match. I played as Captain Falcon against Pichu, Peach, and Mario in Hyrule Temple. (See, I TOLD you it was a minor goal ;) Beating them involved some manner of skill, but with computer opponents it is not completely satisfying. There are ways one can win such a match using repetetive, foolproof tactics (some of which I have found out...), so it's not exactly a stunning achievement. However, it is to some extent good practice for weekly matches against REAL opponents after literature class (one of which is coming up tomorrow!). Of course, I am looking forward to literature class, not video games (oh, and let's not forget about physics :D).

I Guess That's Me . . .
You Are Flip Flops |
![]() You are laid back and very friendly. Cheery and sunny in disposition, you usually have something to smile about. Style is important to you, as long as you can stay casual. It takes a lot to get you to dress up! You are a loyal and true person, though you can be a bit of a flake. You tend to "play hooky" and blow off responsibilities a lot more than most people. You should live: By the beach You should work: At a casual up and coming company |

I Don't Exactly Know Why I Did This
You Are Kermit |

YESS!!! . . . or not?
I finally did it! I beat Lord of the Rings: Return of the King for gamecube in both 1-player and 2-player modes! It is a great game which took a while to beat (though not as long as many others), but now it is becoming just a tad (ok, maybe more than a tad) BORING. I can't believe I am getting bored of a video game, but I realized that now that most of the characters are fully upgraded there's not much left to do. Just redoing levels I've already beaten, and since I know what to do, it's no more than running around killing lots of orcs and uruk-hai. It is still a great game, however, so I can just switch to another one for a while (or get a new one :) and come back to it later. That's the good thing about it. I promised myself I wouldn't buy a new game unless I beat one of the ones I have right now, so now I can buy a new one!
